5 out of 5 stars Works with cell phones and computers   May 29, 2007
I originally bought this for talking over the internet. However, I made an adapter for it to work with my cell phone to use at home. Since I can call any other Verizon phone for free, I can talk as long as I want without having to use a small uncomfortable ear piece. It works great. It has a mute switch and volume control with clip. The microphone can be rotated up if your eating something. The only problem I have had with it is that it generates alot of noise when you have a fan blowing on you.

5 out of 5 stars I gave up on skimpy   May 15, 2007
I used (and broke) several headphone sets before purchasing this one. I kept attempting to go lightweight and behind the head, but I'm just too active in my chair, spinning back and forth between computers, and the poor lightweight sets didn't hold up (I had problems with connectors and cords, and lost function). This set is not heavy, it's comfortable, the sound is excellent, and it's sturdy and has kept up with me very nicely. Love the on-cord mute and volume control.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   May 14, 2007
We needed a good headset for creating closed caption content for a television station. We tried other headsets and found them lacking. This unit gave our captioner the best performance with the voice recognition software and also helped him focus on his task by deadening outside noise.

5 out of 5 stars Can't beat it for the money.   April 2, 2007

I bought these headphones primarily for dictating with Dragon Naturally Speaking. They have proven to be terrific for that purpose, both in terms of accuracy in transcribing speech to text and comfort for long-term use. An added bonus is that they sound pretty darn good for listening to music. If I had any complaint it would be that they are not particularly portable but then again, the only reason that's become an issue is because I find myself wanting to take them everywhere I go.

5 out of 5 stars Excelent mic and head set.   March 21, 2007

I have owned this head set for 3 years now and they work perfectly for late night gaming while the rest of the house is still fast asleep. The sound is rich and full with base you could swear you can feel. The mike is the most sensitive i have ever used. I have a roommate who sleeps during the day so when i talk to my parents or girlfriend i talk in a whisper i can barely hear myself. I always get good conformation from them i am coming in loud and clear.
