Very good title, well structured and current. Assisted with our implementation process.

5 out of 5 stars Great book with cool tips and tricks   August 6, 2006

This is a great book that puts you well on your way to success with understanding and working with MSCRM 3.0. The chapters on Callouts and workflow and the examples using the client side SDK and the server side SDK really helped me in making my MSCRM implementations very successful and gave me a complete picture of all the extensions points available in this version of MSCRM. I would highly recommend this book!

3 out of 5 stars Not as one would hope...   July 3, 2006
5 out of 10 found this review helpful

This book is a fantastic resource for programmers and process engineers alike - however from the perspective of a manager assessing the capabilities of CRM 3.0 for their organization, I found this book to be commercially irrelevant.

A book written by techies for techies with a distinct absence of information relation to commercial impact of the system in terms of process.

Good luck!

5 out of 5 stars Great technical reference on customizing MS CRM V3   May 11, 2006
9 out of 10 found this review helpful

This is a great reference book for those charged with configuring ,customizing and extending Microsoft CRM Version 3.0 to meet the needs of your or your client's business.

It contains a lot of real-world examples, and code snippets that can be used as an aid to understanding.

I found it was also a great resource in preparing for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Customization exam (CRM-30-422).

Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars An excellent book that fills the documentation gap   April 5, 2006

I've been looking for a thorough book addressing the technical details of Microsoft CRM for quite some time. There has been an enormous vacuum for those of us left out in the cold, wanting to implement Microsoft CRM for our business but unable to leverage the product simply out of a sheer lack of insightful documentation.

This book fills that vacuum nicely.

For those wanting to learn how to leverage Microsoft CRM in your business, this is your book.
