3 out of 5 stars Good & Bad   February 24, 2007

I agree with Mitchell there are some errors in the text..but there are a lot of features i had no idea were available in Exchange like Safelist Aggregation until i read this book. Overall it's still a good investment when learning the new Exchange Server.

5 out of 5 stars Great Job!   February 22, 2007

I bought this book after watching a Seminar where the book was repeatedly referenced. Glad I got it, lots of details that weren't covered in the Seminar and I probably would have tried some of the things on my own and have failed. The book stepped me through the migration process to a point where I understand what is going on. This is a GREAT book, I highly recommend it for any company migrating to Exchange 2007!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Exchange 2007 book!   February 22, 2007

I bought this book last month and we used it as our primary reference guide to migrate our organization from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. Chapter 16 on migrations was EXCELLENT, highly recommend this book for any organization planning to migrate to Exchange 2007 and want tips and gotchas for the process. We also implemented Continuous Cluster Replication (CCR) and depended on Chapter 31 for our complete planning and implementation of mailbox server replication. Looking to deploy Unified Messaging next.

3 out of 5 stars Not real Happy   February 18, 2007

I rated this a 3 because it appears some of the content is not correct.

I am still in the process of reading this book but have already found many errors. On page 14 it states the "concept of recovery storage group has been removed" But on page 103 it states "exchange 2007 also includes support for the concept of a recovery storage group" Also in 3 seperate places it states that exchange 2007 standard edition only supports a 75 GB store. According to Microsoft, On their how to buy website it states there is no limit on database size and will house 5 storage groups with standard edition. Exchange Enterprise supports 50 storage groups and unlimited store size as well.

So at this point I am a little skeptical of the content however I will finish this book because I am hoping it will improve and the unleashed series has been good in the past.
