Very helpful May 15, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book was so helpful when I had to write care plans for patients. It is so easy to use and takes you step-by-step through the nursing process. I use this book instead of the book required by my school.
Not the best out there April 26, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book was recommended by my nursing program and the majority of the class did purchase this book. It has been worthless for me and usually frustrates me more on the stressful nights of care plan writing. Investigate all your options before purchasing any care plan books and pick one that fits with you. Just because this book didn't work for me it might be someone else's saving grace.
Not enough detail February 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Does not give detailed explanations of diagnoses. But list many different diagnoses that you may not have thought of.
Nursing Diagnosis Handbook February 21, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book was required for my school of nursing and I'm really glad I spent the money on it. It has not only basic interventions and rationales for nursing care, but also teaching, medication, lab, pediatric and geriatric interventions with the rationales. I have literally 10 other nursing care plan books, but this is the one most of my interventions come from.
Nursing school textbook January 18, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The book I purchase was in very good condition and arrived very timely as promised by seller. The book itself it part of my mursing school textbooks and far more inexpensive online than in a college bookstore. Even if your school dosen't require this book all nursing students should have one as it it the guidelines to treating and assessing patients.
