2 out of 5 stars Flaky   November 9, 2007

Price seemed to good to be true. The only reason why I gave it any stars because it has a good physical design. The extra base is nice to hide the cables. But overall it has soo many flaky issues, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's clearly made in China and the documentation wording shows that. The software on it's web server has a faultly activeX so it is constantly crashing IE. The camera is always out of focus and you will find yourself using Focus Control, even within hours of getting it just right. The save image to a location doesn't work, so good luck trying to get it to record based on movement. It keeps losing it's IP and defaults to 54.54.34.34 (the default). Try to set it to a static IP and you will end up hard-resetting it because it hard locks up. Seems to work best with DHCP if you don't mind getting annoyed that you have to keep reconfiguring it for DHCP. Website documentation is poor.
I would look elsewhere and spend at least twice this, wish I did.
