Griffin 1092-XPRSD AirBase/Desktop Stand for Airport Express August 4, 2008 This is a nice finishing touch to an elegant wireless base station. It complements the Apple Airport Express, makes it stable on a desktop, allows cooling from all surfaces, and enhances placement in a room to optimize signal strength. Great product all around and offers more advantages than might be expected.
Great addition to my iMac's Airport Express July 21, 2008 Some home renovations made it necessary to move my network router and as a result, I needed to get an Airport Express. In spite of the obvious need for and practical usefulness of the Airport Express, I really didn't like the way it just lay there on my desk and having to run an extension cord to it. And, it just didn't look right to me. In fact, it looked kind of sloppy and unfinished. I had seen the The Griffin 1092-XPRSD Desktop Stand in magazine ads and in those ads it made the Airport Express look a whole lot better; so, based only on that, I ordered a Griffin Stand from Amazon.com. The Griffin stand comes with a proper electrical cord and I prefer a dedicated cord over an extension cord. The Stand also keeps the Airport Express from sliding on the desk (a bonus in itself) And, not the least of what makes it a great product, it does improve the overall appearance of the Airport Express as it "sits" (tall and proud) beside my iMac in the Griffin Desktop Stand. Overall, the stand is a good looking and practical product; a product that I'm glad I purchased.
Must to have for Airport Exprtess June 13, 2008 I bought second airport express stand because
1. Airport Express should be placed higher place than AC OUTLET position. I could locate it the best position with the base!!!
2. It connects with USB and Ethernet thus, without this device the express can not be stable to place.
3. Easy to see the status indication !!!
I recommend you to have the stand with Airport Express !!!
Cheers !!!

It works June 11, 2008 This product is nice but I feel it is expensive for what it does. Basically it's a piece of plastic that sits on your desk, has an AC adaptor that plugs into the wall, and has the custom Apple connection for power where you can set your AirPort Express. You can accomplish basically the same thing by using one of the custom Apple extension cords that come with the Apple laptops. However if you don't have one of those, have the money, and want your AirPort Express on your desk for whatever reason, it's a worthwhile buy. You do have to push a bit for the AirPort Express to sit properly in it.
Works with MacBook power adapter, too! June 6, 2008 There isn't much too this product. It's basically a weighted base and an extension cord. But it's sturdy, well designed, and it keeps devices upright, accessible, and cool. A rubber underside keeps it from slipping about on smooth surfaces.
What's nice about this product is that it can also be used with the MacBook's MagSafe power adapter. It turns out that the power adapter has the same dimensions as the Airport Express. My wife keeps one of these on her desk with her MacBook and power supply, so she doesn't have to crawl on the floor to get the power supply to take it with her. She just takes it off the stand, gets the small two-prong adapter out of the drawer, and puts it in her bag. Much easier than getting it from the power strip under the desk.
We have another Airbase being used for its intended purpose as well, and it's great.
