Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
The Linksys WRT110 RangePlus Wireless Router is really three devices in one box. There's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. A built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch connects your wired-Ethernet devices together. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. The Access Point built into the Router uses smart antenna technology to achieve extended range. The Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce dead spots in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections much farther than standard Wireless-G. With MIMO, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. The RangePlus Wireless Router can dynamically enable this double-speed mode for compatible devices, while still connecting to other wireless devices at their respective fastest speeds. To help protect your data and privacy, the Router can encode all wireless transmissions with industrial-strength 256-bit encryption. It can serve as your network's DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, and supports VPN pass-through. Configuration is a snap with the web browser-based configuration utility. With the Linksys RangePlus Wireless Router at the center of your home or office network, you can share a high-speed Internet connection, files, printers, and multi-player games, and run media-intensive applications at incredible speeds, without the hassle of stringing wires.

4 out of 5 stars kinda tricky, but...   November 23, 2008
I have a mac mini and just figured I'd be able to pick up the wireless signal without having to configure anything and all that blah blah. It seemed to work for a while but then some security stuff swithced on and BAM no more internet. I called linksys customer service, and Rhoda was AWESOME. She was super polite even when I was becoming a little confused. So, "mad props" to linksys, don't be afraid to call them for help.

4 out of 5 stars Sleek & Smooth   October 30, 2008
Having been using it now for about a month and so far so good. Its definately very cool looking and has a low profile. It does feel a bit cheap, but what do you expect these days for a consumer product. Not sure how this would stack up in a "business environment". I hooked it up to my Verizon FiOS provided modem via a hardwired Cat5e cable that I have wired in my house. I got this router since I have 2 PCs in my home office and decided to spend a few dollars more to get a wireless router versus a simple switch. Range is not as good as I would have hoped, but I think its the layout of my house, since I never really had much luck connecting consistently to my FiOS modem via wireless. Set up was easy except I had to call tech support to help me navigate through changing the IP address in the router since I was connecting through to my FiOS modem. Was able to connect through quickly and got things resolved in a relatively quick manner, about 15 minutes. Linksys/Cisco tech support even called me back about 1 week later to see if there were any other issues.

4 out of 5 stars great value,great product   October 24, 2008
I bought this router to replace an older linksys and i am definitely not disappointed.Works great with all wireless products.Linksys customer service is great especially the live chat help.I would recommend this product especially due to the fact it is a great deal for the price.

5 out of 5 stars Thoroughly Satisfied   October 21, 2008
I purchased the Linksys WRT110 approximately 6 weeks ago and I love it. The instructions for connection were very easy to follow. Once set up my connection did not work and I phoned the tech support number provided. The technician patiently walked me through the solution which was to turn my LAN connection switch to the on position located on my laptop.

I have not had any problems at all and my kids and I are loving the liberty of accessing the website from anywhere in the house and yard. We love it!!

2 out of 5 stars Not Recommended   October 20, 2008

My Previous router was Dlink, which served me for 3+ years without any or the regular router issues.

It just stopped working one day Wifi died in morning and ethernet died by evening.

So went ahead and bought this new wrt110 router.

Setup was easy could connect my laptop in 5-10 mins over wifi.
Speeds was positively impressive than my 3 yr old router. could immediately notice.

Then I bought up other devices ( 2 more laptops + a ps3 + a iPhone). All good.

Impressed so far. , i thought of giving a 5* rating.

Problems started next morning, I work on VPN to connect to office. And have large file transfers every now and then.

It just wont stay connected. Disconnects at least 4-6 times in a day
All my transfers hang. I need to re-enter passwords every now and then
My Skype calls drop.

Tech support could not help much. Linksys forums say that I am not alone.

Summing Up.
Buy this IF:
1. You are ok with dropped connections for few mins
2. You have only 1 device that needs to connect to WIFI

else , Shop around as I am doing. Do you have any recommendations?
