it does what a mouse should do. October 18, 2008 i think this is a great mouse for the price. i've never had any problems with the logitech line of items. it fits my hand just right and it is a breeze to operate. what else can i say but it does what a mouse should do!
good cheap mouse October 15, 2008 i didnt want to mess w/ wirless since they're hard on batteries. i've always liked logitech, and this is a good mouse for the money. my old cheap mi mouse was barely working. once i plugged in this new one, i realized what i'd been missing!
Its a perfectly brand-new used item October 2, 2008 Although this mouse seems obsolete, but it is very economical and reliable. I bought it for only 3$ and it is still have similar function like a cordless optical mouse. Buy it!!
Functional, but feels too narrow for my hand September 22, 2008 My old Microsoft Intellimouse is more comfortable (wider at the back), and slides much better across my mouse pad than the Logitech. The mouse feels too narrow for me (I am female, with long, thin hands). The software that came with the Logitech works fine (Mac OS X), and the buttons and scroll wheel are responsive. However, the mouse feels cheap. But then again, it was cheap. I will keep it, but if I could make my selection over again, I would still buy a Logitech mouse, but I would buy a more expensive model.
Be Careful when installing August 30, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
If you sign on to windows using a password, DO NOT install the mouse per the instructions supplied with the computer. Why, because it will not recognize your mouse at the point it asks you to input your password.
Instead, with your system running, unplug your current mouse from the USB port and plug in the new logitech mouse. It should recognize it right away. I assume it loads the standard MS optical mouse driver, which works fine.
If you go to the website to download their driver, it isn't obvious which mouse is the right one. But after finding it, it also isn't obvious which software driver is the right one and there isn't any help to guide you. So, whatever driver it recognized when I plugged it in, works fine. Therefore, I abandoned the effort.
Summary.
Mouse works fine.
System software that recognized the mouse on plug-in seems to work fine.
Logitech software, I have no idea if it works as I have no idea on what to download.
Therefore, I rate it a 3 since the website for logitech is severely lacking as well as the instructions that came with the mouse.
Cheers
