Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This groundbreaking book is a must read for anybody who works in or is interested in becoming a managed service provider. Beginning with its inception during the early to mid 1990s, covering the seminal years of the dotcom era, all the way up to the present day, this book will help the reader make sense of one of the most talked and written about subjects in the Information Technology industry.

3 out of 5 stars Needs more content, and polish!   November 12, 2007

This is a nice, albeit elementary overview of the MSP business model. The good news is that this book covers many of the questions that would natrually come up when considering entering the MSP market. The bad news is that this book underdelivers, when it comes to content and quality.
The book should be entitled "MSP 101," since it covers the topic at such a basic level of detail. In addition, there are so many grammatical errors, the reader is tripped up every other page or so. It is clear to me that this book was not proofread before being sent to the printer, which automatically lowered my opinion of Dr. Weaver. Please hire a professional proofreader before printing the next edition of this book!
In the end, I feel as if I was overcharged for this short book. I recommend looking for another (cheaper) title if you wish to obtain an overview of the MSP market.
