I RECOMMEND BOB BOOKS FOR ALL LITTLE KIDS WHO ARE ANXIOUS TO GET STARTED READING. THEY ARE VERY FUN.

I've been looking for books like this for a long-time. It gives my young reader a great boost to be able to sit down and read a book all by herself. The CD is a nice bonus.

I bought these books because my son loves to read. He has been reading simple "stories" that I write on the computer but never real books of his own. When these came he just whizzed through the first series. I took them to his Kindergarden class because they were too easy for him. One to Series 2 and 3. These offered a bit more challenge and he loves them.
The stories really aren't that interesting. I believe he would agree. Each night he gets to read a book to me then I read a book to him. He feels much more involved in bedtime storytime.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. My five-year-old began reading the very first day. I can't recommend these books enough. A great buy.
Helped My Child to Read October 16, 2008
My sons's teachers recommended this book to help support his interest in reading. We love them as each book is managable in size and he felt quite accomplished finishing each book and each larger box (and getting a prize too!) Strongly recommend.
