 An Excellent Resource December 5, 2008
If you want to integrate your Macs into Directory Services, this book is excellent! It is clearly written, provides technical information in a very approachable way, and is the "go to" book for all things Directory Service related on the Mac. Clear a space on the bookshelf for this one, as you will wear down the pages as you turn to it while you deploy DS on the mac.
 DO NOT BUY! Printing Defects. Should be Recalled! November 27, 2008

I ordered this book in October 2008 and received a copy with multiple printing defects (smeared images, illegible illustrations, etc). I requested a replacement but it contained the same defects. Amazon customer service agreed to refund the price and return shipping, and removed the item from their site. Amazon told me they would investigate the defects and I would know the problem was resolved when the item again became available to order. When I saw the item was again available in late November, I ordered another one. Unfortunately, when the book arrived it had exactly the same printing defects. Amazon and Peachpit Press should be ashamed for allowing these to stay in inventory this long. These books should all be recalled!
